Standard Roller Shutters
The traditional roller shutter door is one of the most popular types of industrial door used today and is widely used to ensure security where insulation properties are not an issue. These type of doors can be manufactured to suit small windows up to large openings in warehouses and factories. The curtain is constructed from 3” interlocking galvanised steel laths and galvanised bottom rail, running in galvanised steel side channels, mounted on galvanised steel support angles which are bolted to the structure.
The roller shutters are available in push up, chain hoist or 1ph or 3ph electrical operation depending on the size of the shutter.
For exposed parts, wind anchor guide systems can be provided to resist wind pressure. All doors over 4500mm wide are provided with this as standard.
The standard roller shutter finish is galvanised with a plastisol and polyester powder coating available as an option.
